SPOTTED lunching quietly in a Glasgow restaurant yesterday - Eamonn Andrews.

Last time he was in Scotland - for a hush-hush This Is Your Life TV show - he locked himself in his Edinburgh bedroom to escape recognition.

This time he didn't mind interrogation.

"I'm not plotting another secret life," he said. Eamonn was compering an Irish concert in Motherwell last night... does another in Bridgeton, Glasgow tonight.

Does the emotionalism of This Is Your Life affect Eamonn as much as it does the viewers and victims?

Says Eamonn:

"It does grip me now and again. But it wouldn't do for me to break down. It would stop the show."

In May he's off to America for a three months' break - "To look around and do some TV shows."
