Angela was the first female journalist to present national television news when she became a regular presenter of the BBC's Nine O'Clock News in 1975.
Eamonn concealed himself in a goods trolley to surprise her at a book signing in Brent Cross Shopping Centre. Among those paying tribute is Angela's ITN counterpart, Anna Ford.

As an ITN foreign correspondent, Sandy was the first ITN journalist to report from the Vietnam War. He went on to become a senior presenter of the company's flagship bulletin - News at Ten.
