Life's Vocation

Celebrating the 'men of God'

THIS IS YOUR LIFE - The Very Reverend Clarence Wolfe, Anglican priest, was surprised by Eamonn Andrews in the audience of the BBC Television Theatre.

Between 1928 and 1958, as Rector of St Margaret’s, Rev Wolfe was the Warden and Chaplain of the Orphanage in Aberlour, a village in the Moray district of Scotland. He became a father figure to hundreds of children, and was a driving force behind the home, masterminding publicity and fundraising efforts.

He was appointed Dean of Moray, Ross and Caithness in 1946.
