THIS IS YOUR LIFE - Frank Windsor, actor, was surprised by Eamonn Andrews at the Metropolitan Police Sports Club in East Molesey.


Frank began his career on radio, and was a founding member of the Oxford and Cambridge Players, later named the Elizabethan Players, appearing in classical roles in the theatre. His first television appearances were in 1960 in a series of Shakespearean plays.


His most famous role was as Detective Sergeant John Watt in the BBC television police drama series Z-Cars, which was broadcast between 1962 and 1965, and its spin-offs Softly, Softly and Softly, Softly: Taskforce which were broadcast from 1966.
