The BACHELORS - Con (1935-2022) Dec (1941-) and John (1936-)
THIS IS YOUR LIFE - The Bachelors, music group, were surprised by Eamonn Andrews during a family photo shoot at the top of the Post Office Tower in central London.
Brothers Con and Dec Cluskey and their friend John Stokes, who were all born in Dublin, Ireland, came together through their shared interest in harmonica playing and formed a musical group called Harmonichords in 1957.
Having moved to the UK and begun singing in addition to playing, they changed their name to The Bachelors in 1960 and achieved eight UK top-ten singles between 1963 and 1966, including the number one hit, Diane.
